Mr. Charles W. Pummel, Sr., age 73 of Newaygo, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 in Big Rapids. He was born Charles Wilbert Pummel, in Lafayette, Ohio the son of Mildred Irene (Hawk) and Wilbert LeaRoy Pummel on October 16, 1938. He was a Mechanic for Sparta Foundry, owned Chuck’s Full Service in White Cloud, and was employed at Parts Plus in Newaygo.
He is survived by his children Becky & Tracy Johnson of Kent City, Charles Pummel, Jr. of Newaygo, Char & Floyd Butler of Newaygo, his grandchildren Lacy & Chris Perkins, Drew & Derek Curry, Whitney Butler, Weston Butler, great granddaughter: Kaden Perkins, his brother Edwin & Irene Pummel of Newaygo.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM from the McKinley Newaygo Chapel, on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 with Pastor Doug Bennett officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. For Memorials please consider Heartland Hospice. Please leave condolences at www.mckinleyfuneral.com.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your dad. I was so sorry to hear the news.
I hope that the words of the Bible that say “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted” will be especially true for you.
God will definitely show you the way to smile again. Just remember all the good times you shared with your father and all the love he gave you throughout the years. He is not gone. He will live in your heart forever.
