Kip Roberts, 45 of Newaygo passed away on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at his home following a long battle of cancer.
Kip was born Feb. 2nd 1966 in Reed City to Richard and Linda Roberts. Kip graduated from Reed City High school in 1984 and later graduated from Ferris State University with an associates. Kip retired from MDOT. Kip enjoyed being with friends and family, fishing, boating, hunting, sports and being a wonderful father, husband, son, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife Tamara Roberts, his son Alex Roberts and his daughter Amber Roberts of Newaygo. His parents Richard and Linda Roberts and sister Tammy (Roberts) Bass of Reed City. His nephews, nieces, sister in-law and brother in-laws.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM from the McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo on Monday, January 16, 2012 with Dr. Ron Lucas officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, I was sad to hear about Kip’s passing but we know his homegoing was to a better place where he now has a perfectly healthy body.
